Canon EOS M50
The Canon EOS M50 was initially released in March of 2018, after being announced in February. It is a mirrorless, interchangeable lens camera, featuring the Canon EF-M lens mount.
I purchased the Canon EOS M50 in March of 2020. At the time, my original thought was to use it as a vlogging camera. I was not looking to color-grade the video and wasn't really interested in shooting 4k video, so the lack of log and the cropped 4k didn't pose any concerns for me.
As I had envisioned, the camera performed perfectly for my vlogging needs. It came with the Canon EF-M 14-45mm Kit Lens, which was just the right focal length. Also, the 1080 P met all of my video needs.
And the photo quality? I was immediately impressed. Keep in mind, this is even with the kit lens.
